Charity has more than 14 years of experience in medical device strategic planning, sales, marketing and business development roles. Prior to earning her law degree, she served as the Director of Marketing at ZEVEX Incorporated, which was acquired by Moog Inc. in 2007. During her tenure at ZEVEX she led global marketing, business development and international and private label sales of ZEVEX’s infusion products. Most recently, she was an Associate in the San Diego, CA office of Cooley LLP where her legal practice focused on assisting life science companies with corporate matters. Charity also served as the interim-CEO of Veritract, a University of Utah startup medical device company, and as a Senior Associate at the University Venture Fund where she executed life science venture capital and growth equity investments. During law school, she also served as an Associate at the Lassonde New Venture Development Center where she helped develop award-winning business strategies for the commercialization of technologies invented at the University of Utah. Charity received a law degree, with highest honors, from the University of Utah and a B.A. in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Washington State University.
