Donald D. Solomon, PhD

Don has 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, with a focus in vascular access, anti-infective technology, oncology and drug delivery. Most recently, he was COO, CTO and Director of Specialized Health Products International, which was acquired by C.R. Bard. Prior to that, Don was the Director of R&D at Johnson & Johnson Medical-Vascular Access. Don also spent 14 years at Becton Dickinson where he served as Worldwide Director of R&D for BD Pharmaceutical Systems Division and Director of R&D for Biocompatible Polymer Development. He holds 58 patents and is the author of 52 scientific publications. Don received his PhD in Macromolecular Science, from Case Western Reserve and a B.S. in Chemistry from Weber State.
